Clear answers, without overclaiming.
How readings, alert cadence, guided support and investigation fit together.
What does Mould Sense measure?
Named room devices record temperature, relative humidity, battery level and sample time. The portal shows current readings and history.
Are readings and alerts real time?
Readings are sent frequently and can be reviewed in the portal. Alert emails are not instant: they can be sent no more often than the cadence configured for the device, such as every 7 days.
What should we do when conditions persist?
Put tenant health first. Speak with the tenant and investigate heating, ventilation, leaks, insulation and other damp sources. Household guidance is supportive and secondary to inspecting the home.
Do readings show who is at fault?
No. A reading is evidence—not a verdict about a tenant. Temperature and humidity history helps decide what to investigate; it does not diagnose a building or assign responsibility.
How are devices set up?
Guided setup covers portal access and device naming. Administrator-assisted linking and assignment connect each named device to the right account, with support for later moves.
Can devices be moved?
Yes, with guided support. Mould Sense can help assign and move named devices between accounts as requirements change.
What support is included?
Email and telephone support, a guided portal walkthrough, device setup help and ongoing account-management help are included.
Can Mould Sense prevent fines, claims or repair costs?
No system can guarantee that. Mould Sense can provide earlier operational signals and room history, helping your team decide where to investigate and maintain a clearer evidence record. Compliance still depends on inspecting the property, communicating with tenants and resolving underlying causes promptly.
What does the annual route cost?
The annual route is £300 in year one plus delivery: £180 for the kit and £120 for 12 months of monitoring. Renewal is £120 a year. No VAT is added.
